Maybe Cung Le could also pull this off on him.

Anyways, I have huge respect for Anderson Silva who is a great martial artist, which is why it’s impressive to see footage of him tapping out.

While we are at it. Here is a good clip of Wushu Sanshou pride of San Jose, Ca Cung Le displaying some impressive scissor kicks.

Sexy Stilettos! Martial Arts Classes Offered Free with Dance Icon Stephanie Sy and Candice Wong Pan American Wushu Champion

Monday, September 14th, 2009

Canwest News Service

A Canadian dance icon and one of the country’s top martial artists are offering to force you through the pain barrier this month — for free.

During September, Stephanie Sy — a contestant on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance Canada — and Candice Wong — a Pan-American Games martial arts gold medalist — will be offering free demo fitness classes to members of the public at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

Demo classes began this week with Sy carrying out a demo on Sexy Stilettos dance and Intro Jazz technique.

As well as being a contestant on the TV show, Sy has been the principal dancer on several films, television shows, and music videos.

Although born in Vancouver, she began training from the age of five at the Richmond Academy of Dance and since then has trained at the Goh Ballet Academy, the National Ballet School, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and EDGE Performing Arts Center.

Alongside her at the oval will be black belt martial artist Wong, who will demonstrate and teach Wushu martial arts.

Wong began her martial arts training in 1996 and has become one of this country’s most recognized martial artists.

Known for her hand forms and weapon skills, especially the southern fist (nan chuan) and broadsword form, she has been the All-Around Female Grand Champion at the “West Coast Can-Am Championships” four years in a row.

She was also the silver medalist in spear and double straight sword at the 4th International Wushu Invitational Tournament, and represented Canada again at the 5th Annual Wushu Pan-American Games in Washington, DC, receiving gold in broadsword and bronze in nan chuan.
