Wushu on the Olympics.org Website

Well, whatever the chinese martial arts “Wushu” had in terms of recognition in the 2008 beijing olympics, it feels good to see on the official olympics movement website www.olympics.org that wushu is a recognised event.

Click under “Movement” and then there is a dropdown with one category called “IFs” and you will see Wushu at the very end of the list under “Recognised sports” http://www.olympic.org/uk/organisation/index_uk.asp

Wushu Training Tips from Beijing China and the Beijing Wushu Team!

Have you ever thought about going to China to train and learn wushu?

I am over here in China as I speak training in wushu.

The training is rigorous. We train 2 times a day. Usually once in the morning and once in the evening. Sometimes the coach switches it up and training is in the afternoon.
